Michael Saint James

is a world traveler, having visited more than 30 countries. His travel adventures include: teaching English in Tokyo, building greenhouses on the island of Cypress, working on a film set in Jerusalem, trekking by elephant in northern Burma, and crossing a Himalaya summit at 17,769 feet. Last December he crossed Drake's Passage to photograph penguins in Antarctica.

is a keynote speaker on the artist Vincent van Gogh. He has walked in the footsteps of van Gogh through the Netherlands, Belgium and France to better understand the artist’s personal life and unique artistic vision.

is a keynote speaker on the Impressionists and the History of Paris. His new presentation, The Bridges of Paris, has been well received in France and the U.S.A.

works professionally as a book designer and self-publishing consultant. He won the prestigious Ben Franklin Award for “Best Business Book.”

holds California Teaching Credentials in English, Visual Arts and Theatre.

has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years, now living in San Rafael with his wife, two children and two cats. He likes to dig in his garden and hike along the ocean.

rode his bicycle across the USA from Las Vegas to Washington DC.
